The final three images show some of the
views along the Beartooth Highway. My in-laws traveled this highway in September and were
lucky. The road had already been closed for three days because of snow and ice, but it
warmed up and the road temporarily reopened. They were then able to cross the mountain
range and enter Yellowstone where they had a cabin reserved. Had the snow not melted, they
would have had to travel an extra couple of hundred miles around the mountains to get to
another Yellowstone entrance. |
