About thirty years ago I bicycled Spring Green, Wisconsin and decided to visit Taliesin East where the fellowship resides in the summer. The place was quiet so I photographed the exterior. However, a door opened and a young man asked if we needed assistance. I wondered if a tour was available of the interior and would be willing to pay for it. He said I could see the interior for $25.00, but no one was there as everyone would be coming up from Arizona in a week. He said I could also take photographs. I returned a few years later with my parents and took the official tour. These photographs are the result of both visits. |
