This cake is one we baked for a friend. She received a bicycle for her birthday and that idea became the theme for the decorations. Hence a bicycle path with bicycles and a patch of green with a Keep Off the Grass sign. Plus Laurel's favorite -- Oreo cookies. Everything was edible.
Oh yes, a recipe...
Mrs. M. once offered to bake some potato chip cookies. Yuck-Pooh! Sounded terrible. A few days later she caught me with my hand in the Winnie-The-Pooh cookie jar. "Like 'em'?" she asked. "Delicious," I replied. "What are they?" "Can you taste the potato chips?" she queried. "Oh...," said I. So here's the recipe and they are great.
