| To get a good seat for the fireworks, arrive early and stake out your territory. Chicagoans bring tents, lawn chairs, radios, coolers, beer, wine, soda,salads ... everything for a family picnic. Fireworks are prohibited but sparklers and poppers are OK. The family behind be covered a young man and myself with poppers and youthful grandma supervised the final arrangements.
