This summer, on June 29, 2003, Chicago held it's annual Gay Pride Parade. Numerous Gay organizations and corporations entered floats, but they were almost outnumbered by politicians courting the gay electorate. With 200+ floats, a 2 hour plus parade, and over 350,000 spectators, it was a colorful, wonderful  celebration of Gay Pride.

Technical Stuff: The originals were shot with an Olympus Camedia E-10, a 4 megapixel SLR digital camera on automatic focus, aperture, and shutter. The lens is a 34-140 zoom. The images on these pages were slightly enhanced with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Most photos were reduced in size and resolution to speed downloading, and quite a few were cropped to improve composition. Adobe Image Ready 7.0  optimized the colors for the web. Thus the quality of the images on these pages is dramatically less than the preserved Olympus originals.
