This summer, on June 24, Chicago held it's annual Gay Pride Parade. Numerous Gay organizations and corporations entered floats, but they were outnumbered by politicians courting the gay electorate. With 250 floats, a 4 hour parade, and over 375,000 spectators, it was a colorful, wonderful  celebration of Gay Pride.

Download Note: There are over 90 photos, divided among several pages, so happy downloading.

Technical Stuff: The originals were shot with an (Photos Olympus Camedia E-10, a 4 megapixel SLR digital camera on automatic focus, aperture, and shutter). The lens is a 34-140 zoom. The images on these pages were slightly enhanced with Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and reduced by about 50% so they'd fit on an 800 x 600 screen. Adobe Image Ready 3.0 was used to balance the colors for the web and speed up download by sacrificing the detail in the originals (which have been separately preserved). Thus the quality of the images on these pages is dramatically less than the preserved Olympus originals.
