Dear Nephew,

Well Nephew, I don’t know if we’ll ever get to the real bottom of Washington’s 911 bungling.

I read Bush finally testified to selective members of that 9/11 committee, but not under oath, but not in public, but not for the record, and with Cheney by his side as security blanket.

In my book, that kind of cooked up meeting’s more likely to keep a lid on their blunders than uncover what happened.

So now we get a secondhand report of what went on without any way to check it out. Personally, Nephew, I’d rather believe the town gossip. At least our local scandals can't involve three thousand people dying.
